Gentle River Healing

Your journey to reconnect

About Me

Hello! My name is Alicia and I am the founder of Gentle River Healing. I found my passion for working with people in my youth, and that passion has only grown during my 10+ years working in mental health. I've learned that being in the moment with you and hearing your story allows us to find a path towards understanding and healing.

"Without awareness, there is no change"

Our Services

Individual Therapy

This is a space in your day that is 100% for you. This is a time to reconnect with yourself, finding acceptance for where you are in this moment and also knowing that tomorrow can be better.

Couples Therapy

This is a space to reconnect with your partner. Because this is not a space for being proven "right," we can work together to increase understanding, love and connection. In this space, you can both truly hear and be heard. This is a space to grow together.

Family Therapy

Within a family, there is so much happening, with each member experiencing their own narratives and emotions. In day to day life, we can lose sight of the impact we have on those that are closest to us. In this space, we will work on reconnecting and understanding what is happening in the family, practice seeing each other with respect and dignity, and learn how to work and play together once again.

"In a constantly changing world you stayed constant each week and gave me a safe space and for that I am so grateful. You guided me through the two most difficult years I have experienced. You allowed me to grow and find myself during our sessions and without you I wouldn't be where I am now."
